22 years old, identical twin, Eastern religion OSU student; a bit of a beatnik, hippie, fahionista, traveler, adventurer and philosopher. Through my various traveling experiences, my cultural and cognitive boundaries have been expanded. I lived on a sailboat in the U.S. Virgin Islands, backpacked through Europe, and explored Buddhism in Thailand. I soon found myself hanging around the Integral Institute community in Boulder, CO, which was a blast, but I knew my career would be in academia. Maybe it was because of my Marine Corps Father (who made me do push-ups if I didn’t make my bed), or the sibling rivalry of my identical twin sister, but for whatever reason I am driven by impossible challenges (hence one of the reasons to take this vow). I hope you enjoy my blog, and hopefully I reflect some insight on what it means to be a 22 year old female philosopher of consciousness, stuck in Columbus, OH.

In my travels I've met Integral Institute fanatics in Boulder, pessimistic hippies in the Caribbean, models that know the power of positive thinking in New York, and conformist drunk football fans that know there's a glimpse of something more out there, in Ohio. I've taken a little bit from everyone I've met and given a little back to them.

I am currently at Ohio State for Religious Studies and plan on attaining a PhD in the same feild.
